Twelve Years Later

A lot can happen in twelve years.

In early 2015, I managed to get involved with a wonderful startup named Lendeavor. Lendeavor later become Provide, and was then acquired by Fifth Third Bank. I spent a wonderful seven years with that organization, and I’m proud of all that I accomplished there, alongside some truly amazing people.

For the next four-plus years, I have been working on some personal projects, as well as doing some non-profit work. The non-profit work has been far more rewarding, and successful then my other projects. That work is the Signum Collaboratory.

Signum University is a non-profit university that does a lot of interesting things outside of the traditional university model. I discovered them through my love of Tolkien’s work, and have been involved with them for over a decade. I helped build the Signum Collaboratory, which is a site that allows content creators (e.g., authors) to collaborate with their audience. The Collaboratory has seen some success, and has allowed several authors to build, share, and get feedback while also getting some financial support from their audience.
